Jewelry Questions

Materials:
Unless otherwise stated in the item description, I use 20 gauge wire for all wire jewelry creations.  I almost always use silver toned wire but  you are not limited to these wire colors for your custom order.  Other colors that I have available are copper, black, dark blue, dark green, burgundy and purple.

Sterling silver substitutes:

• Ear hook replacements on any pair of earrings will cost an extra dollar.

• Wire replacement depends on the amount of wire used of course but for regular ear vines it will cost an extra $1.50 or for double vines it will cost an extra $2.00.

• For anything else, feel free to email me and ask.

Sanitation:
I always wash my hands with soap and water before I start working.

All earrings and ear vines are cleaned with alcohol before shipping.  I'm sure you have noticed on the Ear Vines page that they are all modeled on my ears.  I do this for two reasons, one being that it is very difficult to get the shape right without trying them on.  The other being that taking a photo of the ear vine by itself doesn't give you a good idea of how it looks.  But again I clean them with alcohol before and after wearing them.  If you wish for your custom ear vine to be worn by no one but yourself, then just let me know.

Custom Jewelry:

If you ask nicely I'll usually make (or remake) whatever you like as long as I have the time and/or materials. =)  But ear vines and dice pendants are always available to custom order, rain or shine.  If you have something in mind that is unlike anything I've made before, feel free to ask me about it and I'll tell you whether I think I can do it or not and give you a price quote.

Custom items do not have to exactly match anything I have already made.  In fact, I very much encourage new combinations.  You can either mix and match from past custom items or have me do something completely new.

• For ear vines I have a menagerie of seed beads in many different colors and I'm always willing to get new ones.  The same goes for the charms, I have some but I am willing to try and find whatever you want.

• For dice pendants you can just give me a general idea of what you have in mind (color, design, etc.) or you can check out what's available at Chessex.com as I can usual get those.  For wire wrapped pendants, only d20s or d12s please but for drilled jewelry I can do any shape you like.

Ordering and Payment Questions

Ordering:
All orders are done through Etsy so just click "Add to Cart" on the item page and proceed to checkout when you're finished shopping.  If you don't have an Etsy account, it's free and easy to sign up.

Payment:
All payments are done through PayPal.  After to commit to buy on Etsy you have to continue on to PayPal to make the actual payment.  Etsy and PayPal will walk you through each step.  For custom orders, payment must also be made through PayPal and sent to me using my email address, lisa@cantaloupebliss.com.  But I will make the item before requiring payment and then send you an invoice once you've approved of it.

Shipping:
I SHIP WORLDWIDE!  Shipping is $3 for as many items as you want sent to wherever you want.  On hand items are shipped out within one week of payment but please allow up to two weeks for custom items.

My name is Lisa, I'm 24 and I have planted myself in Austin, TX of the ol' US of A.  That's me over there to your right, being goofy and wearing some of my favorite homemade earrings. Obviously one of my major hobbies is jewelry making but besides that I also enjoy comics, role playing games, video games, sci fi, fantasy, tarot, henna, camping and renaissance fairs.  I also love animals, I work at a doggy daycare where I get to play with (and clean up after) dogs all day long. I have two dogs, a cat and a husband.  I also think that thing in the fridge has become intelligent and has wormed its way into part of the family. O_o
